<text>There was a young police lieutenant in Trang, slender, inconspicuous, not at all the kind you would expect to arrest a "tiger bandit." Yet he was absolutely fearless and quite courageous, without ever showing a sign of these qualities. He managed to arrest without anyone's help the most feared gang bandit in the countryside and so became quite famous. Kenneth was competing with this police lieutenant at the tennis court and was winning, very much against the happiness of the crowd watching their hero lose the game. Kenneth suddenly realized how difficult a position he would be in if he had actually won. He managed to have his opponent win and in a very Thai manner conveyed contempt for what they standed for without saying a word. Kenneth used this Thai technique called "bra chot" in the US as well. Margaret recalls at least two instances where Kenneth used the technique. </text>
