    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Margaret did third grade at an open-air school. It was a new idea to which Adelle subscribed, so she sent her two daughters there. The kids would wear their winter coats and sit in the cold for school, putting their feet in a box to keep them warm. Margaret went there for that one year. Evanston was famous for its good schools. With the black people coming from the South to work in Evanston, schools were always integrated.]]></dcterms:description>

He bought an expensive ring, but the problem was that Margaret didn&#039;t seem to want to be engaged, so Kenneth stuck the ring on her finger. They went home to tell Margaret&#039;s parent, and her father told Kenneth that he had been praying for him since the day Margaret was born. Margaret&#039;s mother was concerned that Kenneth was an overworker like her father, who eventually died of hard work at fifty.
